Submission Title: My Two Words

It began as a silent acknowledgment, a small internal nod whenever the weight in my chest felt particularly heavy. "I'm ok." Not a declaration of joy, not a denial of the struggle, but a simple acceptance of the present moment. A way to ground myself when the anxieties swirled. After a spell where even the simplest tasks felt monumental, I found myself absentmindedly writing those two words on scraps of paper, on the corner of notebooks – "I'm ok." Just those two words, a tiny anchor in the storm.

One day, scrolling through a mental health forum, someone shared a comment that resonated deeply. They wrote, "Sometimes, the bravest thing you can say is 'I'm ok,' even when you feel anything but. It's not about lying; it's about holding onto that sliver of hope that you will be okay."

That idea stuck with me. "I'm ok." It wasn't about pretending everything was perfect. It was about acknowledging where I was and holding onto the possibility of things getting better. It was a quiet act of resilience.

I started to see those two words in a new light. They weren't just a response to others; they were a message to myself. A reminder that even in the tough times, there's a baseline of okay-ness, a point from which to rebuild.

That's why I believe "I'm Ok." would be a meaningful t-shirt design. It's a concise message that can carry so much weight. It can be a personal affirmation, a boundary with the outside world, or even a subtle nod of understanding to others who might be feeling the same way. Those two simple words can be a powerful reminder that it's okay to not be okay, and it's also okay to simply be okay, wherever you are on your journey.
